Rules:

Each team must provide one game ball for each game.

We will have a coin flip for home and away each game.

All Pool Play Games are on a 1 hr and 10 min time limit. No inning will start after that time.

The international tie breaker will apply to any extra inning games.

If a game is tied when time is called, then we will play one extra inning with the international tie breaker.

If a game is still tied after one inning of this then it will end in a tie. Win=1pt, Tie=.5pts, Loss=0pts

Run Rule: 15 after 3, 10 after 5

All High School Rules Apply !!!!!!

In tournament play all rules above will apply, except we will be on a 1hr and 10 min time limit.

If we have extra innings in either of these sections then we will automatically go to the international

tie breaker. Warm-Ups will only be allowed on the field if time permits. Game time is the official start time.

In case of a tie in pool play

1) Head to Head if only two teams tied

2) Runs allowed

3) Runs scored

4) Coin flip

If rain sets in then we will go to two possible options.

Option 1: Some games are able to be played Friday night. If this happens then we will start up ASAP on Saturday and finish the tournament on Saturday. This will put us into somewhat late hours into the night. A time limit reduction is very possible also.

Option 2: Games are completely cancelled on Friday night. If this happens we will move the tournament to a Saturday/ Sunday format. We would set a tentative schedule to start at 10AM Saturday morning and play roughly until 10PM that night. We would come back in Sunday at 1 and play until the tournament finished up. The schedule would start from the very beginning and games would be played in the exact same order.

We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. We will be in close contact with the field crew and as soon as any changes are necessary we will get it posted. Hope everyone enjoys a great weekend of softball one way or the other. Thank you for your understanding up front.

Admission will $6/day or $10 for a weekend pass.

They were able to complete the 4 o'clock games today and then the rains came. I think Liberty vs. Hickman County will actually have to finish tomorrow with the game in it's last inning. Pool play picks back up Saturday at 11 AM.

Why are they waiting so late to start Saturday? Looks like they would schedule to start early and then if they have to back up some they can. Some schools can't come back on Sunday.

The Westview coaching staff, Gleason's Head Coach, six parents, and one friend from Nashville worked on the field for 3 hours after everyone left. So we will be thankful if we even get the games in tomorrow at 11AM. If we had some voluntary help from people we might have been able(doubtful) to start the games earlier but Mother Nature has a funny way of controlling things. We could have filled a small lake with the water that we drained from the field. There is no way we could have started before 11AM.A crew is getting there at 6:30 AM to finish preparing the fields.

As far as Sunday:1) No choice 2)We were doing our best to avoid Church on Sunday and trying to allow teams to get games in without playing late into Sunday morning. The only alternative was to play until 4AM Sunday morning and I'm not doing that to High School kids.
