How much losing is too much? Who's responsiblity is it to change coaches? We have lost & lost & lost. 4-30 last year, and previous years have not been much better. The players are constantly being blamed for their lack of skills and knowledge. This coach does not teach baseball, he promotes division, this team desperately needs someone who can teach baseball and bring together a young team with talent that is seriously divided between favorites and role players. Ther have been many complaints against this coach as well.

That's very touching Coach. When my son was of playing age, I stopped coaching because I knew that spending as much time with him was the most important thing in his life as well as mine. I guess my priorities were a little different than some people. I understand and respect the time and effort that is required of coaches. I apologize to all the coaches that I may have offened. I was a baseball coach for many years. I guess my coaching philosophy is much different than todays coach. I guess I was blessed with coaches as a young player through High School that treated players with respect regardless of how well we performed. Following a positive approach to coaching brought us two district championships. I probably said things wrong, what I am trying to say is that in my opinion, this coach will never be successful as long as he coaches through fear, intimidation, and shame. A coach cannot demean players and expect them to perform for him. He can't belittle and embarrass them in front of their teammates. He can't split the team and treat players differently. They all must be treated the same. This team doesn't win because they can't play with confidence because they are afraid of what will happen if they don't perform or they make mistakes. The bottom line for me is that if a coach is unable to teach good fundamental baseball and a winning attitude without yelling, screaming, or belittling players, than he probably should not be a coach.

You know it's funny how parents and spectators are quick to turn on high school coaches. They don't get paid what college coachs get paid but they face the same pressures. When you take their pay and the hours they put in it averages out to under .50 cents un hour in some cases even less than that. On top of that many sacrifice family life. For the coaches that have kids their time that they could be playing or watching their kids grow up they are spending that time with your kids and putting up with complaints of how they could be doing things better. Knowing these facts would any of you gripers like to take their place. Probably not! Would you be willing to give up family time to deal with the likes of you? Probably not! How about this? You let the coach come to your job and follow you around and critique evrything he believes you are doing wrong and telling you how to do it better. Then at the end of the day he posts on a website how terrible you are and that you need to be fired. Or better yet he makes an appointment with your boss and tells him that you need to go. That would be fair wouldn't it?

Best post of the year. I bet this schmuck has never even had the guts to say anything to the coach in person. Register a new name just to take pot shots. Another keyboard coward rides away. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

I have known some crazy parents, but this takes the cake. To go online and try to get your coach fired is sorry. Your username is baseball coach. You need to change that because a baseball coach would never do that. Be a man and talk to someone face to face not through a computer. I would like to talk to you face to face.

Wonder what would happen if this team started winning games with this same coach ? You would be buying him lunch and posting praises on the web. I have seen teams progress from a bunch of no wins freshmen to playing at state 4 years later as a team of seniors,,, it all goes in cycles . And there`s an old saying :"what goes around comes around" maybe you will speak to this coach in a situation where he can defend himself instead this ........junk

Baseball Coach haha. It funny how some do hide under a name on here. Anyway, it is awful to see this crap. What these guys don't understand is that most schools are understaffed. What about the 3 months of preparation - buying new gear, clothing, balls, field supplies. What about the offseason field maintenance? We don't get paid for that either! I am not complaining, people just don't know. It's not about showing up at 4:00 playing 7 Innings and then going home to spend valuable time with an 11 and 13 year old. Most of the time its dark and when the children ask when I'm going to get to practice some with them, I spend the next 10-15 minutes holding back emotions and explaing that I'm doing your best. We don't do it for the pay, we do it because we love the game and we try our best to pass a little bit on to the athlete. Hopefully, we win some games in the process.

His Coacht status should be fired!!!
