Man you can't take it can you. I have nothing to even do with this but your quotes made me want to respond. You said you agreed with 100% of what he said. He said it was a blantant handball....so I guess you do not agree with 100% now? Whatever. What great eyes you have that it hit in the armpit area.....laughable. I was not even there as ND had a game....your quotes are just funny that's all. And I am done....because it really doesn't matter to me. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

Being an east TN fan, no dog in this fight! As an innocent bystander, this string is by far the most entertaining to read. hope to have a chance to see either play in states.

Thanks for your input. The handball did draw a hugh reaction as it would have if it had been it had been the other way around. But as you said that is the Baylor McCallie game. The non call was questionable at best....but I felt like the refs did a great job. Was a rough game....but on both ends for sure. I have enjoyed reading the posts on this thread as this game is just a different animal from most rivalries. Funny but except for soccerman08 and cincyred....most have pretty unbiased I think. Alot of the posters have nothing to do with either school....that is how big this rivarly gets. It was a very hard fought game and I believe both have a great chance to go to state. Hopefully even meet up again this year.

I'm a ref myself and I saw what you guys are talking about. Objectively, I think it was a good no call. The rule book states that the player must play the ball with an arm or a hand to make that call. From my angle, which was behind the baylor section, I thought he had his arm tucked behind his torso as he stepped. The ball did seemed to glance off his elbow, but that was pressed against his body. I wouldn't call that playing the ball. Plus it was a shot, I don't know how much time he had to react. I wouldn't have called it myself, although it was questionable. The ref was right there in good position to see it. Trust me, that's the first thing I checked. I know there were quite a few angered baylor parents and students after that, but it's the Baylor/McCallie game. That would have been a cheap way to change the outcome of a hard fought battle on both sides.

You are not being forced to read this. this is just alot of fans and actually people not involved with either school giving opinions. The players are not even responding and I am sure are focusing on the rest of their season. If everyone else is still interested they can post. You don't have to read.

everyone needs to move on with their own school seasons and focus on their teams and their nexts games. There will be a re-match and until then this bullentin needs to be closed. Thanks

You are not a "ref" or you would not be ripping high school players on another thread. Sounded like a ref on this post....but your colors came through on the Webb vs Baylor post.

I guess people maybe should not take liar's seriously. That's you buddy. Keep up getting personal and don't be surprised to see your name get suspended. Oh yeah but cowards like you that hide behind a name will just get another. Go Owls!

I get a kick out of how seriously you take this. Maybe I did cross the line, but it's really entertaining to see the responses. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />

Rematch is today, weather premitting. I think McCallie will see a much better effort from the Red Raiders. Look out if they bring their focus. Baylor wins 2 or 3 to 0.

Goalie - Edge Baylor. No one better than Danny V

Defense - Edge Baylor Veteran unit playing at a high level

Midfield = Edge Baylor. Kelly Smith, Zander Davis, Carter Paden, Tanner Taylor vs Jesse Morgan, Hill Johnston, Max and ?

Forwards - Edge Baylor - Sam Williams and company - Baylor depth causes matchup problems for the Mc defense

Coaching - Edge McCallie - The Blue play very intense for thier coach. Baylor?

Intangibles - Edge McCallie (The undefeated season is on the line)

    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
