thought this topic would make it more clear for viewers as to which classification since the other one did not specify. what are some predictions? i think the bracket comes out friday maybe

 

 

do you know when the date of the tourny are? I think the play in game stinks Tellico and Seq. Both are way better than Tyner and Brainard. This district most look at the split and change how is does the dist tourny.

 

I would like to see each team play 2 dist games against the same division and 1 game per team on the opposite side. Then take the overall record and seed the dist tourny according.

The way polk is playing, I predict them to win it all. Especially if ole "my arm is too sore to play third on Tuesdays coach" Starr!

Coach Hart knows how to beat polk though

Believe me Starr would play every day if he could. He asks every tuesday if he can play third but coach says there's no need to risk hurtinh his arm, just in case. It's the coaches decision to sit him the next day, not his.

And for my prediction... Chargers all the way. Polk folds the tent just like years past. The Big Blue is fired up and ready for tourney time !!!

Will we see a preview Monday and Tuesday or will each team hold something back? I sure would like to see both teams come out " a guns a blazing", but I believe we will have to wait for the Tournement. Good Luck to both programs, and to the seniors, its been a pleasure watching play through the years. I wish you all the best in the years to come.

Believe me if I was Coach Hart I would say no need to risk hurtin you're arm too!! The kid can't catch a cold at third, watched him early in the season, credit goes to hart for comin up with the "arm protection" theory!! Lets see if the big BLUE can handle phillips when it counts the most. Good luck to both teams.

Polk is hitting the ball as well as I have ever seen them, and no matter what, McMinn Central will still have to pitch to them. As well as contend with their Pitching. Good luck to both teams.

Well lets see, McMinn Central will probably have to beat Boyd twice, and Polk will probably have to beat Meigs twice to get to the finals. Hmmmm thats a tough one to figure out.

Looks like McMinn Central will face Seq/Meigs winner (2 out of 3)

 

Lokks like Polk will face Sweetwater/Boyd winner (2 out of 3)

 

How is Boyd this year? Will this be a good game?

 

I think the Seq/Meigs will be a great game. The two regular season games were close. Megis won both (2-0 and 5-2) but I think the Chiefs are ready to step up and pull the upset.

 

I think that Central and Polk will move on to the region. Polk 1 - Central 2

      It was not ACHS at all, they have zero reason to worry about Clinton.  It had to do with a kid (non football player)  that had a charge and appeared in front of the juvenile judge.  The judge saw that the kid was way behind credit wise for his grade and told him to reappear in a month with a plan to graduate.  When the kid reappeared he had more that twice the credits than one month before.  The judge called BS and contacted the school.  That is what happened.

      Good ole Bradley Zulliger. He was a really good QB @ OR. Fun to watch.  Wore #15 and was like a mini Tebow, with the exception of being right handed. He could take a pounding and keep on ticking. Played with a collapsed lung against Powell that year. Tough as nails.

      They should be pretty good in year two for Rang.  Replacing most of the offensive production losing Dozier, Hayward and Rembert , but they're are skill kids in place ready for their shot.  I know I say this every year, but the o line should show improvement after two years in Rang and Kevin Day's weight program.  I still would favor West over Plow and OR come November.  The Rebs will have to grow up a bunch between now and then, and will probably take some lumps along the way with that schedule.  But I predict come playoff time they will be ready.   One of their coaches half joked to me that they could go 5-5 regular season and win the state championship.  Ha ha.
