If I may offer a rebuttal Go KGC LADY PRIDE!!! There are so many good teams at the 11u this year.

 

Im sure the Lady Belles or Memphis Bobcats will have something to say about the outcome! Maybe the East Tn Stars

or the Tn ladies?

 

And how about the Glory or Memphis Select Tigers? See what i mean? Should be a great tourney

So far Memphis teams have won big as well as Team Pride and Lady Pride.

 

Memphis Bobcats vs. Lady Pride today at 4:30

Tennessee Glory vs. Team Pride at 4:30

 

Winners will be top seeds for Sunday championship play.

 

 

 

Lady Pride won their pool beating Bobcats 49-35. Have not heard about Team Pride. Did not see anyone about town tonight.

What's the word?

 

 

Lady Pride lost to Tennessee Glory 49-45 in tough fought game this morning at 9:00 AM. We came back and beat the Bobcats again by 30 pints for 3rd in the state! We heard Team Pride had beaten Glory by 28 the night before so we assume they beat them again today for the State title.

 

Way to go Lady Pride!

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
