It's odd but after reading posts over the last couple of years you almost feel like you really know some of the people posting...but have never even met them. Akula and Big G....you coaches are both class acts. Akula, It is obvious how proud you are of your team and how hard it is on you to lose such a tough game. Good luck to you coach....your guys are very lucky to have you on their side.

 

Akula, your boys were among the classiest we have ever played. Please convey that to them.

I just want to say, that I am so proud of the alcoa soccer family. My heart is killing me right now. It was a great match that went back and forth. I won't sleep tonight, b/c I love my family so much and I am so proud of them. We left it on the field and both teams deserved to win. It is so hard to see the season end. But with that said, CAK played a great game. the first goal in ot was nasty. we matched it on a PK. I am not sure I will be able to get my head around it till tomorrow. I wish good luck to cak. you found a way to win an that is what champions do.

What a GREAT game. One of those where you hate to see either team lose. Akula, you and your guys had such a great year, and after losing so many players from last years team, you come back and win both the district regular season and tournament. That does not happen by chance, but with good coaching and a bunch of players who believe in what you are doing and in themselves. You guys have so much to be proud of. Your guys play hard but with so much class and character.

It was a classic game. One of my most memorable ever. Up and down, emotions. Goals, PKs, you name it. My heart just breaks for Alcoa's defender. But I will say again, Alcoa was the classiest team we have played all season. Take pride in that Akula. That comes from the coach,my friend.
