Working on a new program I think was smart to get away and try it on a team that knows how to defend it. Helps coaches and players see strength and weakness.

 

there is some ta;ent there, especially with the skill players and the d could be solid.

Jet Sweep; are you worried about the first game or just "fishing?" It was just a scrimmage, nothing more. No one kept stats. We got into the RED ZONE 4 or 5 times but only scored once and picked up the 2 pt play. No special teams in a spring scrimmage!

 

Coach Brewer's defense looked good and so did Coach Bauer's defense. Both teams hit hard and it was a good "first look" for us. We have lots of work to do this summer and the boys looked hungry to improve!

 

Overall, I have been very impressed with the senior leadership and the overall effort put forward by the varsity squad. The seniors know they have just 10 games left on the schedule for their HS careers and we have made it very clear they have to earn any extra days by what they do in the fall!

 

 

 

Wow, with that response makes me wonder if MODERATORS, should be head coaches.............or vice versa.

I went to franklin county but have been in Chatt. for three years. what will the rebels do this year. Is Shedd still there and will he be at qb this year. what about the o/L and the D/L? will they have a solid year with a new coach? Help me out.

Check with Bob Salmon he has really covered spring practice for both schools. I dont think either team has had a article in the paper about spring football.

Spring Practice went well and we got a lot of things accomplished! There is much work to do in August but we know what areas we must focus on. Thanks to all the coaches and parents who helped to make May a great spring practice for FCHS!

Shedd is there. Jis passing has improved. Working on his reads. Team has talent, should win 7 games or more.

 

Fishing tournament coming up soon. They raise a ton of money.
