FridayMainEvent
Ralph and Karen Weekly sat down in front of my wife and I Friday night to watch the Renfroe sisters against Forrest. I felt Stinnet, who is only a sophmore, was every bit as impressive on the mound as the Trinity pitchers. I wonder what the Coaches thought of her performance considering she did beat them two out of three matchups in the State this year and the only loss to Trinity was a 2-0 battle. LovethoseRockets
You guys were there Fri. night Mike and I didn't see you? I got out of the hospital about 2:30 and we went straight to Murfreesboro. I told hubby I didn't even want to go home, I'd missed enough already. I cut dialysis short Sat. morning to get back to Murfreesboro. How thrilling it was! We are so proud of those girls! Hubby even took the day off Saturday to go to the game along with most of Chapel Hill. Congrats again Coach Cheatham and girls!
fastpitchrocks
BLAH! That was discussed before the season even started about them moving off to another school...seems to be as their still at TCA and there would be no reason why the oldest Renfro girl would want to move out her Senior year. The talk actually started before Christmas break when Father Renfroe was asked to leave his position at TCA. From what I heard from a TCA insider, he wanted to move from Jackson immediately but Ivy wanted to stay and defend titles. So he decided to let them stay through school year. I heard they were moving closer to Knoxville as well. But since some time has passed maybe he will allow Ivy and girls to finish up at TCA. tnfisher
Heard at the tourney they will enroll at Knoxville Webb in the fall. I know this year didn't end the way they hoped but they are a dynamite trio who showed great class in the loss and would be a great addition to any school or team. I sat in the middle section with Coach1. You didn't hear the guy yelling about Trinity's catcher blocking the plate before she had the ball on the attempted squeeze bunt? Thought you'd know my voice by now..... I think that may of been MrNoitAll behind the plate for that game. The guy really had no clue...... /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" />

spojo20
The Renfroes will be back at Trinity next year, not enrolled at Webb.
mondo44
The Renfroes will be back at Trinity next year, not enrolled at Webb. I believe that assessment is correct. The parents are originally from Decatur County and have a lot of ties in West Tennessee. Can't see them leaving.
Vultor
I believe that assessment is correct. The parents are originally from Decatur County and have a lot of ties in West Tennessee. Can't see them leaving. Don't know much about these girls but don't they all want to go to UT? If so moving closer for the parents would make alot of sense if his job statis allows.
