Tennessee Lady Trotters lose to Potomac Valley Vogues by a score of 27 - 30 which eliminates them from play at the National Championships. The Trotters finish T-5th.

Tennessee Team Pride defeat Arkansas Mavericks by a score of 59 - 58 to advance to the Championship Game where they will await the winner of the loser bracket. With this win, Team Pride guarantees themselves a finish of at least 2nd.

Congratulations to the Tennessee Teams. Pride should finish 1st but no worst than second. Trotters tied for 5th place and the Elite tied for 7th place. I think it is a very impressive feat for three Tennessee teams to finish in the top 8 in the country. My team got clobbered by both the Elite and the Trotter team in the State tournament. After viewing the National results I feel much better about a 4th place finish in the State. We got clobbered by some of the best the country has to offer. Again, a great job by the Tennessee teams. Good luck to Pride tomorrow.

Tennessee Team Pride will face the Arkansas Mavericks tomorrow in the Championship Game. In the event that the Mavericks win that game, a second game (double-elimination rule) will be played to determine the National Champion. Good luck to Team Pride!
