Carter should be playing better football compared to last year, but with Mcbee and a solid Grainger county team anything can happen. You also have to look out for Seymour in the mix too

It's going to be very interesting this year considering there are new coaches at Grainger County, Union County and Gibbs.

Good point. It may take these teams a season to get used to the new coaches system, or they could have a fantastic year because most of the things the run will have been unseen to this region. Your right it should be an interesting year.

Several people have been picking pigeon forge to finish 1st or 2nd and I was just wondering why they thought so? I don't mean to sound negative, just curious as to what P.F. has and what to look for, because I am curious to hear about all competition in the region

Oh we will find out I personally think he is still riding on his daddies shirt tail it will take him at least till reclassification to make the playoffs and even then it might be a year or two away it is only his second year people but pigeon forge keep wishing but if it doesn't work this year you all will just fire him and get a new coach

Carter will win the region. That is a given. They can also beat the #4 team from Region 2. That has been proven in the past as well.

 

With that said however I just do not believe that they beat Fulton, Knoxville Catholic or Austin East in a playoff matchup.

 

I would love to see how a very good (but un-noticed) Carter Hornets squad fares against some of the better 3A teams in middle TN & west-TN.
