No, not Coach L! He is much older than I am! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> I just witnessed them almost beat Oneida! They were fast, hard nosed and you could tell they were well coached. Just an opinion.

Yes he is much older then you. /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" /> But thay will be a team to watch very close.

No Disipline.

Hey Took!!

Don't comment on things you know nothing about. I'd like to know your definition of discipline.

Mine is 40 some kids who show up and work hard every day. Kids who lifted all spring and summer and do what the coaches ask them to do. Kids who want to make a school and town proud of them in everything they do on and off the field. This team doesn't make stupid mistakes or get dumb penalties. They simply grind it out game after game.

Funny how every team around these parts that has more than a handful of black kids always gets the rap of "no discipline". They are automatically supposed to be more talented than everyone else and when they don't win every game, they have "no discipline".

When it comes to class in the head coaching ranks it is very hard to look past Coach Tapp. He and his staff do an excellent job with these boys on the field while teaching them life lessons in the process. And yes, there is definitely strong discipline instilled in these players. Harriman has played in a VERY strong region the past few years and I'd say they have faired pretty well considering their opponents. I think three straight years in the playoffs speak for itself.

Go Blue!

No Discipline? Harriman is a well coach ball team..they work hard and no they dont get alot of credit for winning.. but they hae gone to the playoffs the last 3 years and have made it to atleast the 2ND round so that right there shows how much discipline they have. You cant make it to the playoffs and WIN without Discipline. i look for big things out of the 2008 Blue Devils they work hard and are well coached..Coach Tapp knows what he is doin down there in Harriman and hes turned that program around..This Season is the season for HHS.. they hae talent all over the field and i think take the region this year..im not sayin they wont have to work for it cause the road to the region championship goes through Oneida, Midway and Coalfield..not to leave out greenback and sunbright..Region 2 is one of if not the toughest region in single A..Good luck harriman show teams and people that it takes a team to win...and harriman is a team so the wins will come!!!!!!!!!!

hey now im right here no need to yell. so when you speak of disipline would you be referring to the fight that the team got into last year against coalfield? just wondering. really yall have guys who show up and work hard every day? you guys lift weights too? no joke? im not the smartest one around here but im pretty sure every other high school football team does that. and if im not mistaken no one had said anything about black people until you got on here and spouted of about it. i said two words on my last post and you get on here and make it look as if i had said something racial. ha. wow. incredible. there are a lot of teams that arent disipline. whether they are black white pink purple. but anyways. i hate to waste more time. harriman has to get back in the weight room and work hard everyday to get ready for sunbright and oakdale.

    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
    • This whole situation is bonkers. You don’t just kick your star player off the team just because you heard them say the F word; the coach definitely had something against the player, or somebody definitely did. Also, nobody has brought up the idea that the school blackmailed the college to get the college to withdraw the scholarship offer, not to mention that the coach who kicked her off is no longer even with the program; they were fired. I think this is a pretty easy lawsuit. I don’t know if she should deserve that much money, but I think she should get enough money for a full-ride scholarship if she cannot get one after this situation.
    • Oh yeah, I’m sure you are different people just always on the same thread for some reason, always agreeing with each other, perhaps just a bunch of dorks who would like to ###### and moan about high school football coaches do a lot of other students, so you make a football team and get a yell at them. When they do something wrong, but I’m sure you don’t like that, do you?   and I’m sure I’m aware of where you get information. A teacher who was on the coaching staff but was fired after the new coaching and staff came in and realized he actually had to start taking his assistant job a little bit more seriously than just wanting to make a little extra cash on the side, hardly even showing up to most practices, should’ve left with his buddy to go to Farragut. I’m sure he could get him a defensive coaching job, but I doubt he will be there in three years. Looking at the way Farragut is currently going.
    • It may be hard to believe but there’s more people than me that think you guys are a bunch of losers.    I’m sure the coaching staff, yourself included, cursed at a bunch of high school students. Nobody could name more than 3 coaches on staff due to the constant turnover.
    • That's complete BS.  Nobody at ACHS has access to CHS student records unless a transfer is made from CHS to ACHS.
