Let me just say that in all my years i have never seen i game at the DEN go into overtime! So good job pulling it out so that wouldn't happen!

Now i don't know the exact number but "wholder" i know that your stats are wrong! I was at the game, and the LC offence throw the ball more then 1 time! Cane was about 0 for 4 or 5 with 1 pick and 0 yards, and as for #4 Mr. Jack Tenison he had more then 6 carries.

 

And i believe that Mt. Pleasant is an ok of a team but just so everyone knows LC don't play like that alot just a bad night for LC, but still good enough to pull out a "W" good job PANTHERS

well "firstandten" i'm not sure what game you went to last night. from the way you talk about the stats, you may have been at the MP vs. LCHS game. but,i am not sure, you say MP is an "okay" team, if you saw the same game i did, you saw a MP team that out played LCHS two to one. Now, if that team is "okay", i'm not sure what that says about your team. we catch a couple of passes, that we should catch, and we win by 2 touchdowns. but, its like i tell all my LCHS brethren, if you want to watch a second round play-off game, you'll have to come to MP.

Well "FIRST AND TEN", what are your numbers for the game? I did have trouble with my palm pilot last night and had to it the old fasioned way. But I will go back thru the film this week to get the right numbers. But since you know more than me I would like to see what you had for the game.

They missed a lot on the stats.....All of MTP......Defensive stats..both.....Jake (not Jack) Tenison completely out. Somebody dropped the ball somewhere.

 

To the other poster about dropped passes etc. Isn't that the way it is in every game.....What if etc. I heard LCHS fumbled a ball that was return..another one int. that set MTP up at the 10 yd. Its all part of the game.

 

Both team deserve all the credit for a fine effort. The what ifs are for a different story and outcome on any game.....But the numbers are the numbers.

 

Once again WHOLDER.....thanks for the info. you provided. After looking at the link......think you did alittle better job than whoever was suppose to post.

Ya'll passed it 4 times, one got picked off and one was caught for 0 yards and 2 were incomplete. I had #4 as 5 carries for 47 yds but I didn't count carry he had when he fumbled, he was at least 5 yards in the backfield so that would put him at 6 carries for about 40 - 42 or so. Your guys didn't even put him in the stats that they called into the Tennessean.

that right there is such an excuse. im sure lewis county coulda came in and said, if we woulda blocked X player on X play we would have scored, and caught X ball on X play we woulda scored. NO TEAM outplays another team 2 to 1 and still loses, it just doesnt happen.

Not sure how many pass att. but 2 comp. 1-#4 & 1-#2 and #25 never ran the ball TE on O. But other than that not far off. Heck of a game on both sides, hope injures are not to serious.

no one out played the other. both teams played ok. mistakes on both sides. you can't play the if game,if lchs hadn't dropped the ball a few times and if we hadn't or we recovered the on side kick who knows, the end we lost. not out classed, just lost the game. MTP put on a good show competing with a 2a team. the score was a lot better than last year.

Great game both teams really played hard.I think MP really wanted to win more I think their coach should have stuck to the ground more .Coach Sharp has big elephant balls ,going for 2 I couldnt believe they pulled it out and the kick off very lucky with MP place kicker and 51 ticks on the clock and 1 time out.Well if MP recovers the ball they really have a good shot with that kind of feild pos.Good luck to LC and looking foward to seeing MP in a few weeks .

well like i said i was goin for mtp but just didnt think they could do it but.....you have to give them credit a whole new offensive system and were able to come out and play like that.....lookin forward to seein LC next week and MTP on down the line good luck to both teams
