Smyrna's first team offense has yet to score a TD in 3 whole scrimmages /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

I have gone on record as picking the Bulldogs to win it all again this year but now I am starting to sweat just a little bit /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="

I can understand you sweat'en it but I think that team as a lot more to offer then what they have shown in the first 3 matchups. I was at all 3 and you can tell they have outstanding players. They are big and they are fast. They have extraordinary good running backs. But they have a below adverage QB. and have made silly mistakes like fumbles and penalties to keep them from scoreing drives. I think this new coaching staff and game style will take the kids a little time to adjust to. They better hurry up, it will start counting soon.

I will say this they did schedule some very good teams to give them a look and with the 1 offence not on the field for long it dose not surprise me. A little concerning, yes but not surprising. Look forward to the next scrimmage Thursday. (Thanks "Cent" for the info)

Michigan stinks

I'll bet you are loving Carson Palmer's kind words to the Buckeyes Nation /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

Jim Rome has been wearing that out lately /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

    • I have no issues with the Karns Middle School program.   Good coaches and he's with the kids he goes to school with.  He's a rising 6th grader who had to play with 6th grade kids last year because Karns didn't have enough kids for a 5th grade age team.  He's in a good place at this point.   My daughter is a single mom with 4 kids under 11 years old.  We help her out with logistics, so staying in our own area right now is important.  Once he gets to high school age, who knows what happens?  That bridge will be crossed when we get there.
    • I know he was a backup but I thought he filled in well when the starter went down. Never a bad thing to have a change of pace back
    • That would be a good get for them. Lowe always finds a way. Pretty sure they have their Rb from last year returning but not that line of beef
    • One school has said it, it was York…who Oneida and many school that played them before we did claimed that they were the dirtiest bunch they’ve played. Riverside didn’t call us dirty nor did smith after they beat us. Ur only dirty if your the one giving out the whoopins.
    • If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.
