Does anyone know what schools will be participating in this jamboree, and does anyone know what the team pairs are?

I'm not even sure that there is going to be a Jamboree at Htown this year. There has been nothing in the news that I've heard. Nobody is talking about it. If it's happening it's sure being kept on the down-low!!!

Westview plays huntingdon in the first quarter. That is the only one that i have been hearing about.

McKenzie plays Hickman County. I don't know for sure when though. I'll update our website, mckenziefootball.com when I find out what quarter they play in.

1st quarter... Huntingdon vs. Martin Westview

2nd quarter... McKenzie vs. Hickman County

3rd quarter... Camden vs. Bruceton

4th quarter.... Lexington vs. Crockett County

 

First game starts at 7 p.m. and lasts two quarters. The Huntingdon Jamboree is over 40 years old. The purpose of the game is for the participating schools to sell tickets at their schools to raise money to offset the cost of insurance for the players. Gate sales are divided among the eight schools.

 

Most coaches won't show much. It's fun for the fans to size up common opponents and their team's chances for the upcoming season and allow the players to "play under the lights."
