btgoG - good call about the running backs - consider this (after 3 games)

- #6 - O'Laughlin - 37 carries/251 yards - 6.8 Avg.

- #23 - Waggoner - 35 carries/231 yards - 6.6 Avg.

- # 46 - Fitzpatrick - 12 carries/86 yards - 7.2 Avg.

- # 3 Gibson - 12 carries/57 yards - 4.8 Avg.

Also, #34 Burton is right 3 yards per carry.

- I also agrre that O'Laughlin is one of the best Soph. players in the KIL. Right now he is a few yards behind Young (Bearden). However, Halls plays Gibbs this week and Bearden plays Farragut. Look for James to take the lead in this clash of two very talented Sophs. After that we can see these two go head to head in next week's game. Should be a preview of KIL Soph of the year award.

- I'm going to go out on a limb and pick Halls in this one. Maybe this will make up for my mispick at S. County (I was off by two Halls FG's).

Halls plays West next week and Bearden plays Karns. Halls plays Bearden the week after that.

Halls played pretty well in winning against Central. They are playing a Gibbs team that is rebuilding under a new coach. I hear Treadway is a bright spot for the Eagles. What other players are doing well for Gibbs? Halls should win but how they execute will preview how they will do in the coming weeks of region play. IMO Halls needs to use this week to get better at:

1. Ball security. No more fumbles

2. Pass defense. Too many long 3rd down conversions.

3. Pass offense. Complete at least two passes beyond the line of scrimmage.

I've heard some good and bad news for the Red Devils:

Bad news:

- Heard we lost a big name for two weeks (starter on both the OL and DL)

Good news:

- Heard we might get a big time playmaker back for West (#10)

It would be nice to get everyone healthy for the stretch run. Again, I pick Halls to win Friday.

I felt Coach Williams showed alot of maturity last Friday (patience with what was working). That being said, if Coach Ward is indeed hanging out at practice some that could do nothing but help (Coach Ward is one of the best around).

I must agree. Hats off to the Devils. They are solid. I am not sure that they will make it deep in the playoffs but should have a comfortable season.

Gresham is #10 and will be hurried into the secondary I would think. He did great last year as a corner and was up there in tackles. Can't see him being any impact on offense this year.

Sad to hear about a illness for one of our lineman I hope whomever it is I wish for a speedy recovery.
