Mojo.....are you a glutton for punishment? If you truly love your son, you would not keep setting him up to get attacked on here. I can't imagine doing what you are doing on here to my son. In the end your son will hate you for it too. Please stop and think.

 

at least hes (mojo11) trying the way you talk is that he should not do anything ,the coaches have already taken everything away from this kid, for what reason they need to tell this kid why ,because i think the father would tell everybody why ,hes the only person who doesnt hide behind a fake name ,everybody says leave the kids out of this dont bash the kids,,but everybody who has a comment blasts this kid ,,,why is it,,,what did he do that is so bad ?

Mojo, your funny. I respect your desire to stand up for your son. I hate the way this hole thing has been handled. I do believe he was (and is?) Blackmans best chance to change the landscape this year. But its is the way the current staff chooses to handle it right or wrong they will either reap the reward or pay the price.

As for the qb if he is indeed still on the team he needs to go beyond standing on the bleachers with a towel on his head doing jumping jacks, pay attention to whats going on and work to be part of the solution (and your not the only one that thinks he could be) tote the clipboard and be the biggest cheerleader on the sideline even if it wrenches his gut.

 

I for one am rooting for your son, but it's is how he deals with this adversity that will be what he is remembered for.

Get real; I admire a man for sticking up for his son. First of all lets put this in perspective. First we have a QB coming to Blackman with some of the best credentials as far as a quarterback in Tennessee. As far as his grades I am told he was an honors student at Lavergne and is well above the 90% in his studies so far this year. A far cry from the Collier kid. Not only that why would he tell Crocker??™s father if he came to Blackman he would pass 70% of the time. That was before a home was purchased in the Blackman zone. Second we have a coach who has been told this is your last year if you do not produce. We have a Daddy who cannot stand for anyone to get more press than one of his BOY??™S. He is also on the Blackman board that suggested and got approval for one of the assistant coaches who happens to allow a player to live with him because he is out of zone. Oddly enough there is more than one coach allowing a player to live with them. Fourth, This same outstanding citizen is jealous that his son did not get the first write up in the papers so he had his son go to the coach and tell him the TEAM was not like the Crocker kid and did not want to block for him. He then took it further and had the Security pull Crocker out of class and question him about a bogus charge so he could not go to practice. And what is most embarrassing is, this man is a man of the cloth.

Think about it, how a kid can be the starter for the first game and move to third string in one week and not given an opportunity to earn is spot back.

 

The worst thing is the coach who is trying to hold on to a head coaching job surrenders to the BOY??™S father. I hope this coach can see the forest for the trees. He has done nothing to help himself. There is another coach waiting in the wings and has made it clear he is the next coach of Blackman. He has a son on the freshman team. He is supposed to be the head coach??™s friend. If this is not a Payton place then I have never seen one.

 

Take a look at the last two games and tell me what is different. Run three times and punt and if there were any passes it was to the flat. The opposing defenses we will face already know how to stop Blackman. I cannot understand why anyone would lamb blast the kid dad for taking up for his son. I can understand the Daddy??™s boys doing it. But then again, I know he will pray for me.
