Yea and these men are proven vets. If you saw the game ,you would understand.

MP played like it was early in the season not 6th game,need to get back to basics ,blocking and tackling.

 

The worst refs I've ever seen both ways.

maybe someone at the game can help me , why did they run that untimed down

 

 

 

Here's the Federation rule:

 

 

NF 3-3-3: "A period must be extended by an untimed down, if during the last timed down of the period, one of the following occurred:

a. There was a foul by either team and the penalty is accepted, except for unsportsmanlike fouls, non-player fouls, and fouls that specify loss of down.

b. There was a double foul.

c. There was an inadvertent whistle and the down is to be replayed.

d. If a touchdown was scored the try is attempted unless the touchdown is scored during the last down of the 4th period and the point(s) would not affect the outcome of the game or play-off qualifying."

 

Note: the key word here is during. If the foul occurs after the last timed down (e.g. a late hit after the ball becomes dead) then there is no untimed down. The penalty for the dead ball foul would be enforced on the first play of the next quarter--even though halftime might intervene. And if such a play happened after the last play of the game, that penalty would essentially go unpenalized.

I would rather have the best player sounds like you lost and what to do what most do blame coaching because we have the best team without giving other teams players credit that maybe just maybe they wanted it more.I am sure that the talent pool is close but sometimes coaches do make mistakes and sometimes they make the good smart move that nobody thought of.I wouldnt start pointing fingers and blaming coaches/MP coach is good coachcome on the strive for five is still alivethe first 4 werent an accident.

im just glad good sportsmanship was shown by mtp.....NOT....i wish yall couldve heard wat one of the kids in the line was sayin to all of us and it wasnt good game not to asay this was everybody but.......only a select few

My money is on mTp. I look for the tiger D line to put some serious pressure on the talented WC QB.

Wow, Young, this region is going to get very interesting this year. So who has the inside track to the 1 seed now? I'm sure you guys already have all that stuff figured out. I wonder when was the last time that MP and CWood lost on the same night. I'd bet it's been awhile.

 

 

For MP to win it now they have to win the rest of their games and WC has to loose one more. The only tough game WC has left is Collinwood. MP has to play MC, C'wood and CA, who may be tougher than we thought.

 

The guys just need to practice hard this week and PAY ATTENTION so they will understand what they are supposed to do, when to do it, when to block what person and what angle they are supposed to take to the ball. If you don't understand ASK QUESTIONS!!!!

Yup, Waynesboro plays extremely well and beats a great team and suddenly collinwood starts whining again...hmm
