AllAmerican10
yeah, Oakland was a whole lot better and was lucky to get the W oakland was no where near better they may have won but wilson central came out way to confident! i mean they barely beat coffee county and as you can tell coffee county isn't putting up very good numbers for their program

Yeah it was a close game in Manchester, alot of things went wrong for Oakland and alot of things went right for CC and they fought very hard. A win is a win all the same. As Coach Mac has said, ill take winning ugly over losing pretty any day of the week. Oakland is a young team, still learning how to win after years of being in the cellar. We beat you at your house and did so by running the ball right down your throat in the 2nd half. A simple "good game, you were the better team on this night" would have sufficed, but you just seem to be in denial. I was hoping Coach Aric's comments in the DNJ were the exception to the rule, but with your comments, I guess its more of the rule than anything else. Your opponent, particularly their defense, had something to do with that. Look at this way, you guys were the 1st team to break double digits against the Patriots this season. Look at this way, you guys were the 1st team to break double digits against the Patriots this season. well take a look at the score from tonights game 49 to 14 and you guys barely won, not saying anything bad. Also yes you can come out to confident! Being to confident means careless mistakes and there were tons of those on both defence and offence and also there were terrible calls by the officials and that also affected the outcome of the game. No worries though, we will meet again in the playoffs!

No worries though, we will meet again in the playoffs! Now don't start saying that Oakland barely beat Coffee County in Manchester and Wilson Central blew away Coffee County in Wilson County so Wilson Central must be better than Oakland ... ?? You know better than to compare like that. Oakland caught Coffee Co. earlier in the season when the Raiders appeared to give a darn and played with much fewer mistakes. NOW, Wilson Central is a good football team and I can only assume if it does get another shot at Oakland in the post season the game will be just as close as the first one. I like Wilson Central's offense - lots of backs that can carry the ball and hit a homerun and some nice variations of the Wing-T .... Good luck the rest of the way. Great hospitality from the folks upstairs - kept us well taken care of. As far as the Raiders are concerned - still a lot of work left to be done. Good luck to Coach Nunley and the players getting things pointed in the right direction. The fate of the season rests on next week's game! Quit looking for excuses and just own up that Oakland is just better at this point, the calls went both ways so that argument doesnt fly. You can make all the excuses but the truth is were in the drivers seat and you guys have to fight to make the playoffs
