Why do you want to get ugly....catbooster?

To:Ms. President OF THE OAK RIDGE boosters.

 

catbooster....First let's applaud all of the hard working boosters.

 

A friend called me and told me to check out what you had to say...I find it so amusing your comments in the other locked thread are such a turnaround from what you expressed about the coaching situation at the end of last season. I remember you were all for trying to get new leadership for our boys. You also said you were going to run for president of the boosters because you and your's did not trust the coach with the booster money and you would be able to keep track of it. You also said your beloved player did not like the coach as well.

 

Yep, the only true statement you made in your post was that several people have issues with the coach. You better believe I do. I did something about it Ms. President. When I saw that people like yourself were afraid to stand up because of fear of rath and that you would only speak behind backs [ including mine].... I moved out of state so my player would have a great senior year instead of having his career ruined by an egotistical jerk who vowed he would never get his chance.

 

I do agree with most every thing 'catpack' and 'catwatch' have to say and there is much more than a handful who do. [they were having more people show up at their meetings than you were ...lol..]

 

What personally do you know for a fact this player did to get the ƒ€œdeplorable attitudeƒ€ label Ms. President? And you know for a fact the ability remark is bull.

 

So lets be open and not two faced Ms. President.

 

Everyone I know is behind the players.

 

I will always love Oak Ridge Football.....................GO WILDCATS!

With all of the dissension in Oak Ridge one must wonder if the director of schools and the athletic director both had left a year earlier would we be having this discussion? :confused: :confused:

 

It is very unfortunate both of these top brass did not want to have to deal with this and move and retire quietly to not rock the boat.:x

 

LetĻ"s never forget how the great leader of young men inherited his job and Gary Rankin didnĻ"t so much as get an acknowledgment he sent in his resume and wanted the job.:(

 

I hope the Wildcats have a great and memorable year and show they can win with their talent and heart which the have an abundance of. :)

      They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.

      The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.

      I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.

      All these college signees went yo other schools for 3 years, were getting college offers then transferred to Bearden. It’s not like this staff did much to develop them.    The BBall coaches son and the Seymour transfer were some of the most talented QBs in the region, and you guys developed them into QBs who might complete one pass a game.
