i take my prediction back. im sayin Crockett 35 Dburg 17. Mosier, Bass, and Prewitt run all over the Trojans D. Cant wait to see it

these young CAVS have been overcoming seaon long injuries making Crockett MUCH better than most fans think from looking at their compare scores which one shoud not do . Mosier is indeed a "player'..possibly the best in the region when healthy..DHS will have their hands full as well as Crockett with DHS 'O' playing better each game. Dont be suprized that Crockett doesnt pass more than usual..its gonna be a 'Slobber-Knocker' make no bones about it. I dont see the score this far apart either way.

TROJANS GET READY FOR THE CAVS TO PLAY THEIR BEST AS ALL TEAMS DO WHEN PLAYING DHS

FOCUS,HEART,DESIRE EVERY DOWN..ALL GAMES REMAINNG ARE MOST IMPORTANT FOR A TOP SPOT IN PLAYOFFS.

'GET THE EDGE'

'TOGETHER WE ATTACK'

'WE ARE BROTHERS'

'WE ARE DYERSBURG TROJANS'

GO TROJANS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even when the Cavs had one of their best teams ever, and at full strength, 3 or 4 years ago, they only managed to beat an average Counts squad by a touchdown. Anyone who believes this will be more than a one touchdown affair, one way or the other, needs to stay far away from the casinos. Counts and Pratt are two of the best high school coaches in the state, both from a strategy standpoint, and their ability to motivate and get the most out of their players. Both teams will be super charged and ready to go to war. It'll be another nail biter. You can count on it!

I agree. This will be a hard fought contest between two very good teams.

Im not quite sure that you would call the D-burg teams of 3 and 4 years ago "Average". Talent-wise, they were just as good if not better than the Cavs during this time period. They even won the region one of those years, i believe.

Point well taken. The Crockett team I'm thinking of, I believe the Johnson brothers were seniors, and I can't remember his name but the big, athletic, bruising back, Tyus I think, who got hurt late in the year. When they had their full roster healthy, they were destroying everybody....even the Milans of the world, yet Dyersburg, who was a young team that year still managed to play them within a touchdown in about week 4. I think D'burg did go on to the state quarters or semi's that year, but they hadn't been expected to be as good. but came on strong late in the season. The Tyus injury was unfortunate because I thought Crockett had the personal to have gone a long, long way in the playoffs. Crockett and D'burg have as much success and pride in their programs as anybody in West Tennessee. In the past 10 years, both programs have been superb. All the kids on both teams think they will win every time they step on the field. The word quit doesn't exist in either program, which explains why each has been so tough over the past decade. I look for a real knock down drag out that could be decided in the last minute. This game is turning into a great rivalry...I look for a real hard hitting, but clean game....may the best team win!!!!
