Ravenwood v Indy

I agree that it's sad that there isn't near as much interest in this game as there was in past ones. But then again the talent level at the two schools isn't what it was 2 and 3 years ago. Indy doesn't have Darnell, Pettgrew, and Consiglio; nor does Ravenwood have either of the Beckers, TC, and Cleckner.

This is a MUST WIN for Independence. They must come out in full force on both sides of the ball. The coaching edge goes to Rector, with no disrespect to Eubanks. However, as a whole I think the Indy team is more talented. Indy must contain Rowland otherwise it will be a very long night.

Prediction

Indy 24

RHS 23

After watching many of the Indy posts of the past several weeks, I think one of the reasons why no one is jumping to talk about Indy is because every Indy thread leads to an argument about who should be QB. Maybe if the dads who post on here, and the disgruntled players who post on here would keep their dissatisfaction to themselves, a better, more participatory thread could be had by true supporters.

And I don't think Indy can beat RW this year, no matter who the QB is. For Indy's sake, I hope I am wrong. I am just an outsider making an observation.

And perhaps a lot of these posters will understand that it is a team effort, and that it is a disservice to the rest of the team to put so much devisive energy into who should take the first snap of the game.

the last few years this was the game INDY needed to win to set thier sights on a playoff spot and yet again it looks like it will have to be that way again.... yes the last few years the game had alot of hype and passion, but as both teams still struggle to identify themselves as a playoff team it is INDY that must win this one for any chance to make it into the playoffs-

all season long can INDY take control on the defensive side of the ball? If they can contain Rowland they will win and when i say contain him it must be either under 100 yards rushing - cant give up the long long 80 yrs gaunts.....

heart says Indy 33 - RHS 29

but hope i am wrong when i say RHS 39 - Indy 20

All i have to say is one thing...

When number 12 for the Raptors steps onto the feild

the Eagles better start to tremble...number 12 is for sure

one of the hardest hitters in the region if not the state

If i was the Eagles Quarterback i would have my eye

on number 12 every snap...

But not only should the quarterback have his eye on 12

but the entire defensive secondary for the Eagles...

12's set of hands are like Velcrow when it comes to catching

the football...

You will NOT see him drop a pass

WATCH OUT EAGLES!!!

And he was cut loose this spring from Scotts Hill. Heard him in a interview a few month back and he inspired me. He needs to be back home in the Purple & Gold, regardless of if he is HC or not or even if he doesnt coach at all, his presences will improve the environment. But Again, I have no clue if he would even be interested.

Not much shot to win a state title at Macon but could very well be a contender with the talent coming up through the peewee and junior high ranks in TC I hear. He my dark horse candidate. trousdale co fans could also brag to their neighbors that they talked their best coach into coming to TC on a year of such high expectations at Macon co.
