Why yes they have , with young Hudson winning 5-4 in the finals his freshman year and 6-5 in the semis his Soph year. Whe have known Alex from our many early Sat morning trips down to hot Atl when the boys were younger. A very nice young man that acts totally different on the mat. I would guess by the size of his daddy that he is going 35 or 40, what info you got RMC?

Hope life in dreary Atl is treating you good, by the way, EFT is still in need on a 60 and 71lber in case you want to join the FAMILY.

Just heard it thru the grapevine, that porkchop will join, Zach Watson, Trent Larue and Nick Maxwell, 4 state medal winners at 112 this weekend.

Say it ain't so porkchop, go battle crawlinvol at 119. The class is hard enough with the other 3 plus what the GA boys bring.

BCB,

My inside info says there will be no Porkchop at 112 for Catholic. After Christmas, could be a possibility. /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />

    • And yes, in 2010 Clary/Scott Monger got into it with a R’dale fan. Well, mostly Monger lol. I think the fan took a swing at him. It’s funny as all get out listening to it on the replay. Scott told the guy to sit his a** down. Lol. That wasn’t the only time SM got into it with an opposing team. Seems like he got into it with someone at William Blount one year. He was an OG lol
    • Nope, they knew lol. He was just one tough hombre. Played right up to near the end of the Powell game like that and we almost won. I think they beat us, 21-17. Was a valiant effort on his part though.
    • No, that was in 2010. We played them in the quarterfinals in ‘11 the year I’m talking about, but we got hammered 35-14. 2010 was a fun year though. Played Maryville in the semis and gave them a really tough game for the majority of that game, but their depth eventually wore OR down, 38-21. Bradley had a few awesome runs in that game. He was a stud. Nothing fancy, but like I said, a mini Tebow. Would keep that read option up the middle and pound that tater in there. He was hard to bring down. Probably went for 195 lbs, if that.
    • Gibson County will be good next year as well. The five girls that didn't start last year are all solid and we have Micah Hart's sister coming up this year. We  will be very competitive especially late in the year. May lose some this summer getting girls reps and trying to figure things out but we are going to be good.
    • Dyersburg will be really good for a while. Their JV is loaded as well. South Gibson ought to be much better with four really good players coming up from an undefeated  Jr. High Team. Also will have 3 players back from knee injuries last year. They will be a handful especially late. Dyersburg District right there with the Upperman District with quality teams.
