I think if you play up in one you have to play up in all sports so I doubt if the rest of his school wanted to do that and I think that had to be presented before the board voted

That all sports thing was for moving up in district classification only. such as choosing to play in the AAA district with Soddy, Rhea and those guys. Once districts were set, football playing schools had the option to play up in classification for the playoffs, so in the A districts, if you were 1a for playoffs you could choose to play up in 2a. It did not effect what district you were in just what level youplay in the playoffs. Same thing in AA, you can be 3a but choose to play 4a for playoffs. You did have a time line to turn that request in but I am going on the info I got and that is Hixson is going to compete in the AA district and participate in 4a playoffs.

I really like this new region. I think there is great potential for some good local rivalry games. All schools are within 10 miles of each other.
