I think that Smith County (who will probably be the underdogs this year in the big games has) has as good a chance as any one else.Everybody thinks that SC cant throw the ball but we have improved tremendisly from last year to this year.SO WATCH OUT FOR THOSE OWLS

Smith County won't win region 4 or the state.

Swampy, they may not, but they have a better chance to win region 4 than Kingston has to win region 2. ;) You may not believe it, but SC has about an even chance to win the region. Time will tell, huh? We can go back to this thread late in the season to see where your team is and where my team is to compare. :D

I think this is how the region will shake out:

1. TROUSDALE COUNTY

2. PORTLAND

3. SMITH COUNTY

4. LIVINGSTON OR YORK

5. YORK OR LIVINGSTON

6. UPPERMAN or MACON

7. MACON or UPPERMAN

8. JACKSON

9. CANNON CO or DEKALB

10. DEKALB or CANNON ;)

I agree with the first five, but I'm not so sure about the 2nd 5.

Twan, you're right about Kingston; I don't have too high expectations from what I've heard...

:D

of course, they've surprised me (and others) before. I think that Anderson Co (week 6) is the most important game of our season. Kingston fell apart after losing back-to-back to OS and AC by a combined 7 pts. last year.

Hey, Twan, we may not have a better record than SC on November 2; but I bet we do on October 1!

That could be. You may be selling your team short. They lost some close games to very good teams the latter part of last year. ;)

They seemed to quit after AC. They lost to OS by 4, AC by 3, and AE by 3, but got absolutely throttled by LC, Loudon, and Fulton. The LC game was the biggest indicator to me that they had written the season off.

Vic has been very good at forgetting about last year over his tenure. Kingston did lose some key players, though. There's a lot of unknowns this year.
