Whos the best in the city of Clarksville?

Does anyone know what teams will be the best in Clarksville this football season? Of course Clarksville had a great year but lost to a talented Gallatin team in the second round of the state playoffs.For a first year team Rossview High had a chance early of making it to the playoffs but losing thier last 4 hurt. Mont.Central in Cunningham underachieved and didnt go as far as they should have. Northwest knocked off talented Clarksville High only to fall to first year school Rossview. Northeast and Kenwood played tough and hung in games but couldnt finish or keep up with the top teams.

 

My predictions would be that Clarksville will obvoiusly be down after losing Star tailback Mario Merriweather but his replacement Chris Flecther should do fine. Tario Frederick comes back for his senior year and it should be a GREAT one!! Rossview should win more than 2 games but if they do remains to be seen. Northeast and Northwest will be contenders once again, well at least NW will be..Kenwood who knows?

and theres no Clarksville Academy football this year. :confused:

I pick Clarksville High not only because I graduated from there and played on the team but also because they seem to have all the pieces in the right places for another good team this year. They've had the two best teams since the 50s the past two years and football is back at Clarksville High. They proved they could win in 5A last year so I'm anxious to see how things go this season for them.

Rossview is coming around, they've outplayed Clarksville High over the last 2 weeks in a scrimmage and in the jamboree. They may not be there yet but they are greatly improved over last year.

That has to be one of the funniest things I have ever read on this site. NW will not contend for that region's 4A title. White House and Springfield will be the teams to beat. Pearl- Cohn will also be in the mix. Stratford could make some noise before everything is said and done.

Rossview did not outplay Clarksville High at all. Clarksville played their worst ball of the preseason the first scrimmage and in the Jamboree the only way to pick who outplayed who would by way of a coin toss because neither could have outplayed Richview Middle School that night. Just going by those two short games isn't enough to tell who will be the better team this season and its too bad they don't play each other. CHS beat up on some good teams prior to playing Rossview but didn't bring the same games to Rossview.
