I herd that bobby and portland's baseball coach jimmy "boy" parker are very close. Jimmy boy coach for portland last year and is a home town boy. I would guess that he would be the front runner. I herd he was the freshman D-coordinator and D-Line coach at Boyd Bucannon for ten years. Good luck to jimmy boy and the Panthers in 09 very tough district. future looks bright?

why are yall hatin on my boy Jimmy Parker? He is the man for the job. He is a big time motivator, he knows his stuff, and he was a two sport stand-out-athlete at Portland back in the late 80's. Since then he has coached at a private school and has come back home to save Portland Football and Baseball. I say I can speak for the panther fans when I say we want Jimmy Boy to lead us to the promise land! Parker would be a good hire. Since he was on staff this year do you think Gideon would still consider him? Everything I've heard and read implies that the new coach will be new to the school. Parker seems like a capable candidate. Good luck to him.

if a motivator is what people are talking about, why not start at the top and get a motivator for principal so maybe you can get off the target list for no child left behind!
