"Many thanks to you Bighurt. On the contrary, the CPA crowd picking up the litter on their side of the stadium left us all in awe. Thanks for helping to spread good will. Hey, we were so impressed that we carried that practice with us the next week at Ezell when they pounded our brains out".

I think this is a great idea. It teaches kids respect and helps build sportsmanship not to mention reducing clean up cost after the games. Would it not be great if this simple act became common place in Tennessee H/S football?

Agreed Scout someone should be really proactive in this and make it a normal occurance. I am going to start this with our crowd from Ezell and i already have 4 indentured servants (being my family) to help me start this.

Thanks, Scout and Charka20,

Coach/Pastor/Realtor Joe Chilberg should get credit for the idea.

It would be wonderful if visitors were treated like guests by home fans and visiting fans treated home fans and facilities with respect.

ECS has a wonderful practice of greeting their guests and feeding visiting teams.

Trash talk could become trash pickup!

    • You wanna talk about zoned for Bearden.  Lol.  I don't think so.
    • Great win for the Pirates. State Tourney bound !
    • You're talking about the running back, right? I don’t believe he was zoned for west, but there were numerous players that came from TKA a few years ago and still are. I’m sure some are, but the majority aren’t.
    • Gratitude abounds for Blake Satterfield, whose five-year tenure as the head coach and exemplary ambassador for Trousdale County and its educational system has left an indelible mark. His strategic leadership during playoff seasons was nothing short of remarkable. Anticipating that his future endeavors will be equally impressive.  Perhaps the board members will refrain from undermining the incoming coach as they did in Blake's case.
    • Yeah that's true, I was talking more about football.  If you go to a TKA game, there's nobody there.  The only people there are the parents of cheer and parents of players.    The kid that left and came to West was zoned for West and decided to quit private and go public school.  He won two state championships at West, so hard to blame him there.
