Coach Miller was talking about WV on the Cleveland webcast last night... losses only to FR, Cleveland, Bradley, and McCallie this year. This is one of the teams that probably deserves to be in Clarksville but may not get to go because of the strength of Region 3.

i was not there, but here is what I got when I requested some information:

 

Simpson WV vs. Laney LFO

 

1st period- Simpson gets 3 Takedowns and cuts Laney 3 times. 6-3 Simpson

 

2nd period- Simpson takes down. Laney gets 2pt near fall, Simpson gets a reversal. 8-5 Simpson

 

3rd period- Laney gets 3pt near fall, Simpson gets a reversal, Laney escapes, Laney gets takedown with aprox. 15 sec. left on the clock.

 

11-10 Laney

 

Laney(GA State Champ) is now 29-0 with 28 pins. This was the first time Laney has gone to the 3rd period.
