Longgone
Why do the folks from Siegel (great program by the way) talk smack to everyone on Coach T, yet their legs seem to turn to jelly at the mere mention of Farragut? Sound like the Admirals are in their heads a little bit. First, thanks for the complement. Now, no jelly legs from us or no head games being played. My point was this - don't give any team a reason to be looking to show you up - they just might! Farragut is a good program at this point in time - returning State champs. Don't talk the talk until you prove yourself.

On the topic of farragut ... nobody realizes that Siegel cant start any of their top pitchers cuz they have a district series that next monday. and coach reavis wont pitch anybody on 2 days rest . yes siegel would love to beat farragut but they are gonna have to out score them and that'll be tough. it is also possible that the stars and admirals could meet at the warrior classic. No telling who pitch's in that one.

Aragorn8574
I agree on that. Siegel would love to beat farrugut, but district games are what matters? Farragut carries around a can of whoopa$$ and they keep it in the dugout. They usually open it up during their games. Siegel has the ability to hang with Farragut but they have to play the perfect game. No mistakes and a whole pile of hits. Even then Siegel has to hope the Farragut hitters don't find the gaps. It would be nice to throw your top guy but that won't happen in a non-district game so somebody else is going to have to step up. If Siegel can keep it close it's a victory. Very true ... i do think they can hang with Farragut but they wont get a moral victory out of keeping it close . If they play it close they expect to win. Thats how they are. Dousedablaze
There is not a team in 7AAA that has the hitters 1 through 9 like Farragut. We will see how we stack up to them soon because Riverdale and Blackman get to play them in the Warrior Classic. Siegel gets them later in the season. It will be interesting to see how we all do against them. I will say Riverdale will do the best against them because they get them on a Friday and could possibly use some of their better pitchers and still allow them enough rest before district play the following week. TKZ1025
Siegel plays Farragut on a friday too. nobody can say Coach Pharr doesnt challenge his team with a tough schedule. last time i saw Farragut has just about every good middle tn team on it this year: collierville, blackman, usj, siegel, bartlett, BGA, and mount juliet are confirmed. should be a great year of baseball in TN, i know im ready. Dousedablaze
Siegel plays Farragut on a friday too. Riverdale will have an extra day to rest their guys because they don't play a district game until the following Tuesday where as Siegel has Cookeville on the following Monday
