Huntland and CA play tonight in Huntland. any predictions? since williams threw for Huntland i believe ashley will throw tonight..he's had a sore shoulder but LOOKS to be ready. Ayers is most likely gonna throw for CA so it will be a pretty even pitching matchup. what do ya'll think?

Cornersville beat Cully 10-7 with the full arsenal back! I heard Bassham was finally back in the lineup.

Glad to hear Bassham is back! and as for the CA-Huntland game, i dont know what happened to Huntland. They had an off night. Several errors in the field. Ashley threw for the Hornets and threw fairly well. He went 4 and 2/3 innings and CA had about 2 or 3 earned runs on him..like i said, several errors in the field AND a pair of walks. Ayers threw well for CA. Both guys had to deal with the umpire who wasnt consistant at all. Hope the Hornets bounce back. they're better than what they showed, but CA is definately a front runner.

Its great to see Coach Eddie Bassham getting off to a good start at CA. We sure do miss him at Mt. Pleasant. After years of having outstanding teams at Mt. Pleasant, since he left the baseball team hasnt played over .500 ball.

Is everybody going to make an excuse when CA beats them this happens in every sport why cant the team that loses just say they got out played and i was watching the CA cornersville game and both teams got jipped on calls

Good game that needed extras to decide the winner. Both teams had their chances to win it in the first 7 but neither could capitalize. Could have gone either way. Bassham was back in the lineup and looked to be back to normal. He had a couple hits and got walked a few times.

Very true statement, at times it was like each team was gonna spot the other one runs to see how long we could keep the game going!! Pretty stressful game. Matchup of the week is possibly C'ville vs Richland on tuesday? anybody agree

honestly i think every district game could be a matchup of the week. i know huntland has richland monday and MC tuesday. CA isnt THAT far ahead of everybody. Lat year it was Richland all the way..a little closer battle i belive this year
