Does anybody think there is a reason for the score being only 2-1 in the playday a few weeks ago CA vs Richland especially since only freshmen pitched

 

 

i heard everyone was hitting about everything. and everyone was catching everything.

Well I was surprised when I heard Parsons didnt throw against C'ville. So I also wouldnt be surprised to see Malone throw against CA

Patterson is done for the season more than likely and i think we'll see the Parsons Workman show tomarrow shoulld be a good game but Parson was filthy against

so ca won 8-3. Who all pitched?

Parsons pitched 7 innings and had 16 K's. Sands pitched the 8th and took the loss.

 

Workman pitched and had 10 K's. Not sure how many innings he threw.

 

The game was tied 2-2 going into the 8th.

the umpires from last nites CA richland game should not ever umpire again they were horrible for both sides and looked like they had never umpired before

Parsons and Workman both threw great. Richland out played them for 7 innings they were up 2-1 top of the 7th had two outs and the umpire squeezed them pretty bad

sounds like richland is a one man team and only has parsons. teams like that dont get very far.

the field ump wasint to bad but the guy behind the plate didnt have a clue he struck a kid out on two strikes and walked a kid on three ball much less the zone

Sante fe gave all the dawgs they could handle in extra innings. Give them credit but the dawgs did seem a little flat and underestimated the opponent. It was a tooth and nail game, brewers HR for the dawgs gave them a boost in the 4th. Then in the 7th it was tied and Bassham hit a solo shot which most figured would end their fight but they then pushed another run across in the bottom of the 7th. The dawgs came up with some timely hits in the 9th then retired the side. Good win but some costly mental errors almost brought the upset.
