Please verify. Tennessean show Independence beating Ravenwood Monday 11-5. You are saying they played yesterday, as well, and Ravenwood won 5-2?

Per today's daily announcement on the IHS website, Ravenwood did win yesterday's game 5-2.

i think blackman should at least top five in the state. they hit the crap outta the ball. and lebanon could probably be moved up a spot or two.

Overton belongs in this list somewhere.

 

12-3, and in their last 5 games played and beat Independence, Centennial twice, Hendersonville, and @ Brentwood...all with two primary starters out.

If Independence is #2 where is Franklin with a win of 9-2 over them.

Independence was enormously overrated coming into this season, right now they are 2-3 in the district. I think you have to look at their district rival Franklin, who is at 5-0 in the district right now and beat Indy 9-2 this week.

I AGREE,I THINK OVERTON SHOULD BE SOMEWHERE ON THIS LIST,13-3 OVERALL ,LOST TO INDY (LATE ERRORS, HAD CHANCE TO WIN),LOST TO A GOOD PAGE TEAM (HAD 4 RUN LEAD IN BOTTOM OF 7TH) AND LOST TO A VERY GOOD PELLUM ,AL TEAM WHO WAS 17-2 AT TIME WE PLAYED THEM AND IT WAS OVERTONS 7TH GAME IN 6 DAYS.HAVE WINS OVER FATHER RYAN,INDEPENDENCE,2X CENTENNIAL,HENDERSONVILLE,2X BRENTWOOD.SOLID PITCHING,STONG UP THE MIDDLE,AND GUYS THAT CONTRIBUTE 1 THUR 9.ALSO HAVE ONE OF THE BEST COACHES IN STATE

No, actually Franklin is 5-0 in the District. They will play everybody in the District just like you will, only time will tell how it will turn out. I'm thinking it will come down to the Franklin vs Overton series April 22-23 as far as determining who takes control. They are the 2 best teams in the District to this point. Franklin also had key players missing early in the season, 3 position players and #1 pitcher. Overton did an excellent job beating some good teams with some of their key players out, Franklin was not as fortunate. But, since getting those players back, Franklin is 9-1. Both teams have a lot of young talent and should do well over the next several years. Overton is a great program who has represented middle tn baseball with some great teams and players over the years and probably have the best coach in the state. Don't sell Franklin short though, their pitching and defense is solid and they have finally started hitting. Good luck the rest of the season.
