WELL,to do this right at the Music City, one should post every match but we're not exactly set up to do that. I'll talk to P4K,if she doesn't run away and we'll seei if that could be done, maybe not this time. To explain how big this is, at this location the parking lot is full with this Tournament and the Hockey going on and at Select when I passed it this morning, Cars were backed up about 3/4 mile but they were moving in pretty quickly. Someone said the crowd looked about like traffic around Christmas. There were about 10 College/University Coaches watching today. DS, to do this, organization is the key factor. with over 1000 players and not exactlyknow how many teams it is, its a little different than just to post a few names of teams. And then there's the thing if Coach T will sanction us doing it. If there are 25 clubs with an average of 5 age groups with two pools and 2 out of 3 games. that is quite a bit of posting, BUT if he says go we may be able to pull it off. The impossible is a little harder. There are huge crowds here but why not, admission is free. This venue is about as good as you can get and in the hot bed of "Volleyball in this area. One thing I can tell those of you in the state, Smoky Mountion 17's team out of East Tennessee played this afternoon and is a good team playing out of Knoxville. They played Nashville 1 16's and it was a whale of a match with SM barely coming out on top in two. The semi's and the finals will be tomorrow afternoon and everyone will cause a traffic jam getting out of town but the flow and interstates empty out things very fast with I65, I40 and I24 plus an outer connector I840 close by to connect the interstates. There may be WiFi close to make it easier. Not good for watching but maybe for posting results. Results may be best gotten off the

SRVA web site at a later time.

    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
