Springfield is probably better than the final score indicates. They have got some big hitters on defense. Game was 10-0 at half. The opening kickoff resulted in an 85 yrd return for Springfield. Their kickoff was returned immediately for another 85 yrd return by Gallatin. 30 secs off the game clock and 14 pts on the board, real strange. Gallatin could not do much on the ground but got over 150yrds via the air. Kicking game won it for the Wave or Springfields lack of blocking which ever way you put it.

Not a real good game to watch if you're a coach. But fun for the fans.

GWAVE1 summed it up pretty well.

QB Chance Johnson out ran tail back Williams. GHS won't win a lot of games like that, but it was enough tonight.

This was not the blow-out that the score indicates.

SHS had two turnovers in the red-zone. And they gave up several big plays, both offensively and special teams.

Gallatin has a lot of room for improvement.

Springfield will win a lot of games this year. They are big and very fast.
