FYI......The Scrimmage is tonight Smyrna @ Gallatin and it's at 4:30.

 

Any details on how practice is going at Blackman. How's the offense looking? Defense? Any particular players standing out? Also, does Blackman have a scrimmage this Friday? If so, is it at Blackman?

 

 

Blackman has two scrimmages next week:

 

1. Wednesday I believe at 4pm, at home, against BGA

 

2. Friday at 4pm at home against Gallatin

 

Have no idea about any specific player don't know their names yet, but I know all coaches are pleased with how three-a-days are going this week, would be happier if it wasn't raining all afternoon.

I have 3 DECADES of state championship OAKLAND shirts. One from the 80's, one from the 90's, and now one from THIS decade. I do feel a bit guilty wearing any of them as I didn't actually EARN one and neither did YOU!

Better get ready to roll with the big boys but try a new tactic besides the name-calling.

 

Good luck to the Blaze this yr. I am interested to see how they are going to stack up against my boys at Oakland this year.

 

Awww now Priceless don't get your pretty panties in a wad okay? It's just a website I don't feel guilty at all for wearing my shirts... I am very proud of what the boys accomplished and I wear them proudly every chance I get, no matter where my dad is coaching.... remember I went to school at Smyrna and was a part of that team for 14 years, so I would say that any person who has ever had anything to do with the Smyrna program over the last 14 years is proud to where those shirts.... don't worry maybe oakland will be good enough to go back to back but just remember who did it first in Public Schools

On Wednesday BLACKMAN will be having "Meet the Blaze" after the scrimmage. I'm trying to get confirmation on the time of the scrimmage and time on the cook out. Will post as soon as I know for sure.
