All girls are definitely deserving, but this one was a no-brainer. Chassidy played in the toughest district (13AA) by far and put up no telling how many double-doubles this year. Hopefully Purple and Gold can give me the exact amount. There will be the argument about the fact that she is just a junior. There is nothing to support that constant argument either. Chassidy was the best player by far in AA, and this vote should not have even been close as the PA announcer said it was. Man, he could not even pronounce her name correctly! Go figure. /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

You could probably make an argument for each one of them & I dare say Fussell is probably the front runner for next year already.

Don't forget that March has a ring on her finger, was MVP of the state tourney as a junior against the best teams in Class AA, and put up solid numbers all year long as her team was ranked number one all during the regular season this year.

I think all those factors worked in her favor with the voters. Especially when you had a very talented player in the running who was last year's winner.

I'll say it again, there are no losers at this level. Perhaps some dissappointed fans, but no losers. And I'd almost wager that each of the three young ladies would trade the individual honor for the gold ball that Gibson County

is taking home tonight.

I WOULD SAY EITHER#14 OR#4 FOR UPPERMAN SHOULD WIN IT. I'M A MCMINN CENTRAL CHARGERETTES FAN, BUT THESE TWO YOUNG LADIES STOOD OUT FOR ME, IN ALL OF THE GAMES THAT I HAVE WATCHED. ALL CLASSIFICATIONS. JUST MY OPINION.

That is very nice praise for a couple of incredible players.

The Davis and Maynard kids have been fun to watch here at Upperman.

Hearty Congratulation from the GatorBill family to Lauren March. Great job.

It has been a fun season, I look forward to next year. Im ready to roll already!!!

At one time this season she had 15 double doubles....That was right after Jan 1st....She averaged a double double on the year though.....

And yeah, the PA guy didn't pronounce her name right....

13AA is going to have three players capable of being nominated next season.....Chassidy Fussell-OC, Heather Butler-GC and Amber Rechis-Westview.......

And by the way Butler deserved the Tourney MVP....Don't you think??
