State Pairings?

I don't understand why they wait so long after the substate games to make the state tournament pairings. I don't understand why they can't make the pairings either Tuesday or Wednesday after the substate games on Monday night. I would think that coaches would want to know who they play more than 4 days before they play? Any idea of why they wait so long?

because they dont want the meeting to be during school.they did basically the same with the girls having it on a sunday.

I think it is a blind draw. I know that the 2 west TN teams and 2 East TN teams will be on opposite side of the brackets. I think all the coaches of participating teams are their for the draw.

It is a blind draw, if there are two teams from the same region they can not be on the same side of the bracket. Other than that, it is pretty vanilla.

The two West Tn teams (Humboldt and Manassas) are not in the same region, therefore they could very well play each other on Wednesday...

 

Temple and Grace Baptist will be on opposite sides of the bracket...Other than that, all other teams will be randomly placed..
