Marion county was able to ride the arm of Lucas Lloyd til their bats woke up.......16 to 4, huge three run blast by Trey Hill

marion county did nothing to win that game. hixson did everything they could to give them the game in the first six innings and they still couldn't take advantage..

16-4? Seems like to me they took care of business.... So your telling me that Marion didn't get a single hit and all their runs were unearned?

Marion did not have a hit til the fifth inning and still was winning something like 5-4 I think. Hixson did not play very well as they did throw the ball around alot. Marion had like ten men reach on walks and then a ball would be put into play and they would throw in around. With that said, Marion still won the game by twelve because of a gutty performance by Lloyd when he did not feel well and not have his best stuff. Marion also had 4 errors of their own. So in saying all that what it comes down to is that Marion won the game and we all know the "W" is all that matters. With the way Marion played early, they are fortunate to win but good teams usually find a way to win.

This game was simply a display of Marion County Baseball....Find a way to win under any circumstances.....Congrats MC..

 

Also I think were goin to have to change Hill's last name to Layne lol....

thanks. i completely tore my medial meniscus in football season. i had it repaired but it kinda relapsed the other night. i pitched the sequatchie game so i'll be fine..
