It looks to be what is being talked about. Why did he leave?

 

 

I didn't know that he had already left, but if he has, or if he does, it will be for a lot of reasons. I have a couple of friends in Montgomery County who coach and officiate, and they say there is no administrative support there at all. They just don't care about athletics, and certainly not football. NW may be one of the worst places to be for a football coach.

I cannot say that he is better than the Alcoa coach, but if you can talk the talk with administration you end up in good positions. This is his second head job in 3 years, and as stated that some people coach a lifetime without one opportunity. I guess the interveiw is more important than what happens on the field. I just know several people I know are excited that NW is going another direction, but as said years ago. Exactly 3 years ago if I do believe, you may not always get what you wish for.

 

 

So C.S. are you going to apply for the job?

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
