i hear the bucs can really swing the sticks. their only losses so far have been to state tourney Marion county and mccallie. they will be tested this weekend in a tourney playing red bank, mt. juliet, soddy, and wilson central. if they can play with these guys they may be the real deal. good luck bucs! i'll be followin you guys in the paper

Well "Bucbaseball" i'm guessing either you play for them or are a big fan i saw the ccs vs boyd game and they showed me they could hit really well a couple errors in the field though

 

they're pretty decent and boyd is a good school from what i hear so i'll be pulling for them and hoping for the best!

They could possibly be the fourth best AA team in the chatt area behind Marion McMinn Central and Sequatchie

I believe that the Bucs can hit the ball well enough and the pitching staff is strong enough to defeat Mcminn Central. Their achilles heel is their defense, they're averaging around 4 to 5 errors a game

yes the bucs must have swung the sticks pretty well. i did read they put up 38 runs in those 4 games against 4 good AAA teams. Mt. Juliet and Wilson Central are 1 and 2 in their district and the same with Soddy and red bank. theres no way you can win a game with 4 or 5 errors but the offense will carry them threw some tough games

I completely agree with what you said. Hitting can make up for some of those errors, and Boyd Buc can stroke the ball. Its impressive when you put up 38 runs, in four games against highly competitive AAA teams.

they are a pretty good hitting team with some speed but they are not as good as everyone has said for them to be they lost to Wilson Central which was a blow out (11-3) until Wilson Central started making error after error.

wilson central sounds like the bucs with the errors. the box score shows that the bucs jumped out to a 3-0 lead. yes they are loaded with speed and potential power

They have speed throughout the lineup. All three starting outfielders can fly and hit for power and the infield up the middle is pretty quick as well. Matthew Crowe has been a dominant force at the plate hitting 6 homers. The Bucs pitching staff was a little sketchy during the tournament this weekend but i'm sure they will turn on their A game for their district games. They have 4 solid starters and a pretty good bullpen.
