I thought Mitchell was AA. Are they moving up?

 

 

 

How good will Memphis Overton be? Is there anyone that can play on that team?

My bad Yankee Mitchell's still two AA.

 

AS for Overton..they have a couple good young guards in Alvertis London Jr, and Antonious Cleaveland, but I can't think of anybody else at the moment.

All the swapping schools isn't good for basketball, whether you're talking Memphis or the midstate.

LIke Dragonmaster said, its perfectly fine if you move from one area to another, ESPECIALLY if its to a better part of the city. Joe Jackson did it!!!

 

Plus guys like Mardracus and many players from the Southwind Middle Program elected to attend other schools instead of Germantown or taking the private school Route. Theres nothing wrong with that and I extend many Kudos to Wade for actually staying at Mitchell this year even after Coach Johnson left.

 

At the end of the day, most of the transfers happen when a family moves and I think thats legit....its no different than anyone wanting to move out of a bad school district to another good one...except for the fact it involves mainly Basketball.

 

***Unless of course, you want to move from a horrible city school district to a private school....Then, you have to sit out a year, provide 10 reasons why you are too good to stay in that school you want to leave, and still get looked down upon***
