fiftyfifty
What are the transfer rules under DII. Can a student transfer from one DII school to another without sitting out a year? If you meet the criteria which is largely the same as Div I, yes. If not, no. If your family moves from Nashville to Knoxville during the summer, yes. If you decide to go to another private school across town for no valid reason, no. A player transferred to Ryan from JPII, and was forced to sit out one full year from the time the player transferred. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
silverpie
There is no difference in the transfer rule between Division I and Division II. The only schools that have transfer rules any different, on an ongoing basis, from the rest are the four boarding schools (Baylor, McCallie, St. Andrews-Sewanee, and King's Academy)--moving into the dorms from outside the school's day-school area, or from the dorms to a place outside that area, is accepted as meeting the change-of-residence rule. (Some schools have special provisions on creation--for example, an Ooltewah student who is now zoned for, and attends, East Hamilton will most likely be immediately eligible.)
