Don't know if Oldblazedad is just an overly zealous fan who got ahead of himself of if he is just a prankster, either way I think the folks who were most affected are the Blackman Wrestling faithful like PBD. Don't know if they were the intended target but that's who most likely thinking,"Man, that's just not funny."

The fact of the matter is that this was never a joke. I have from a very good source that Pat Smith was in fact going to take the head coaching job at Blackman High. He was interviewed by Bill Kennedy in the Blackman Wrestling room. He was set to take the job and informed Coach Gonyeah from Smyrna, and was then told that he wasn't the man for the job. At that point, he withdrew his name from consideration.

Why is a club coach interviewing a perspective high school coach? Is the school hiring the coach or a club coach to run the high school program?
