jellico - morrow (will give rather a run for his money for that mvp), thompson, chambers..(my pick to win this district)

oakdale - currier, kilby

coalfield - powers, hill

I am adding Tarver for OS . Most improved player in the district last year.

ask-me, this is a boys basketball topic, you need to move over to the ( please read slow so you can understand) girls basketball to talk about this.

If I remember correctly, here is a list of returning all-district team from last year...

 

Oliver Springs - SR Rather, SR Harper (tournament), SR Tarver (tournament)

Wartburg - none

Sunbright - SR Higgins

Coalfield - SO Hill

Oakdale - JR Currier

Oneida - SR/JR? Carson

 

As far as what this year will hold...its up to each team/player. The names mentioned on previous post are probably favorites but you never know.

Here is my thoughts on it,

 

OS has a god group returning and are my favorite to win the District.

 

They have 2 of the top 5 players in the district in Harper and Rather.

 

as far as the rest of the disrtict goes here is what i have:

2.Jellico-dont know much about them. but seems to be a pretty good team.

3.Oneida-Carson and West are good players, dont know much about anyone else on the team.

4.Wartburg-Shannon and Goodman, Fountain will help but their a year away from winning the district.

5.Oakdale-All they have is a good new young coach that will make them work hard, Not really any standout players.

6.Sunbright-Higgins and a few other hustle players.

7.Coalfield-Just dont have any size and Hill is about all they have.

i really heard Harper isn't playing for oz because of his future in football... this will take away a lot of size for oz and i already had them at 2 this might push them back farther... rather is good but it takes 5!
