Sevier County vs West 1-1, prediction a little off I would say. :thumb:

 

Okay so I was off by 2 goals, West 3 Sevier Co 0; If I thought West had a potent offense like Hardin Valley, Bearden or Farragut or Oak Ridge, I would have predicted 9-0. But bear in mind I am not a West fan so it wasn't a fan of the team predicting the score. Seen both of them play, congrats to Sevier Co for keeping it close.

You make no sense...your prediction was 5-0 and now you say you were off two goals....Where did you pull the 3-0 from?...the final score of the game was 1-1. :roflol:

I think transam is under the impression that West won, 3-0 or has reading comprehension issues. Reality check, transam, final was Sevier County 1, West 1. Not only did the Bears "hold it close", they earned a draw. Congrats to Sevier County--I have seen them play and they have a tough defense and a very good GK. They will be a force to be reckoned with in their district.

It was an interesting game on several points. Obviously Sevier County is showing some improvement good effort. West has some talented players, but seemed to lack an offensive mentality. West is probably lucky that that they were able to hold off the late game push from Sevier co. Good effort from both goal keepers. I hope that coach from West will figure out who playing what positions. Looked as if there was very little confidance and continuity to team especially on offense. It is early in the season. A wake up call for West and a confidence booster for Sevier County. Good Luck to both!

Well, I apologize, saw the score on Prep Extra that it was 3-0 with West winning. Obviously, there was a misprint on there, but then again there have been misprints on all these sites, not to mention alot of people with some arrogant attitudes.

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
