NG has improved as a team.. We have been workin our tails off just as much as anyone out there.. but our program is still at a point where we cant compete wit Hampton and Cloudland.. To answer an earlier question we run many different types of sets in our offense and can show bright spots at times but it will be hard this week against a well coached Cloudland team, and i dont think people should knock on our coach because he is one of the smartest coaches around and most people will admit he hasnt had the best talent to work with these past couple years but once he gets it NG will be a contender.. I myself play for the huskies but i think the landers win this ball game in a tighter contest than most people believe :thumb:

All that cookin makes me want to watch cloudland, but the bandwagon hasn't stopped in Htown yet. :D

Believe it or not, I have a few friends up here on the mountain. We have a good time cooking and enjoying each others company.

And to the NG player, if you are predicting the other team to win, then that is part of the problem your program is having. You have to go into the game wanting to rip the throats out of the opposition. Cloudland used to have this attitude. It has to be more than just a game to you. It has to be a war and your life. B)

Doubt I'll be able to break bread with you guys, but I really do appreciate the invite. I'm planning on making the Avery game. That one gets my blood boiling. Like both schools.

    • I havent kept up with Keeton since he went to Oakland, so hearing he is in a BOE role now, that may trump him coming back.  Rennard on the other hand. That dude is a Man Builder! And he was cut loose this spring from Scotts Hill. Heard him in a interview a few months back and he inspired me. He needs to be back home in the Purple & Gold, regardless of if he is HC or not or even if he doesnt coach at all, his presences will improve the environment. But Again, I have no clue if he would even be interested.
    • biggest....just saying he is good at what he does. I may or may not have already floated this out his way.   He is a good guy!
    • Shoulders from Macon co.  A creasy protege. Has the best coached team in the area as of late. Not much shot to win a state title at Macon but could very well be a contender with the talent coming up through the peewee and junior high ranks in TC I hear. He my dark horse candidate. trousdale co fans could also brag to their neighbors that they talked their best coach into coming to TC on a year of such high expectations at Macon co.
