Volunteer89
How are playoff pairings and seedings going to be determined? With a different number of teams qualifying from each district I'm not sure how they are going to match them up. Anyone have any insight? Volunteer89
As it has been explained to me, when the playoffs come around the top two teams from each district will earn an automatic bid. Then the districts will be split into two classifications and the top half from each classification will become "playoff eligible" with any remaining playoff spots being filled as wild cards by the teams with the best records remaining. From there it seems like it is a mystery to everyone what is going to happen. Will the teams be seeded and then placed into a bracket or will the bracket be based on district matchups like it has in the past with 2A? Maybe they will just pull teams out of a hat.
