3sportDAD
SG had plenty of opportunities to get it done in the fourth, but turned the ball over. Congratulations to WG, solid performance by your whole team. Good luck the rest of the year.
DevilMan03
Congrats to West Greene. I believe FB is getting better in Greeneville and the County. We all improve by everybody becoming stronger. 5 years from now people won't believe how much better FB will be. It is heading in a positive direction. Even CD is better than their record. They are a physical team that has a problem between their ears (sorta quit after the going got tough last night). They can easily make the leap like WG and SG. Well said! I believe Cd can surprise Wg but the defense on Cd will lack at The lil Engine that cld will find holes easily. But I'm sure Cd will look at Game film from when Greeneville Easily Destroyed Wg and shut down Boles. Sg will be a harder task for them but If they give to Juice he will make things happen. PVHS1990
Congrats to the Buffs. I thought that the Rebs would have to much offense for the Buffs to keep pace with, obviously the Buff defense showed up.

Susong drives.....Susong coughs it up.
wghs88
Congratulations to the Buffs on your win tonight. I'm sorry to see the can go. It's a tough break for the Rebels, especially the seniors who left it all on the field tonight. I don't think the better team won, if you were at the game tonight you know why I'm sayng that. The Rebels had 361 yards of offense compared to WG 277. A pair of should have been field goals, not punting on 4th and 15 and some other bad play calling decisions cost the team the game. Just like the CGap game, not going for the 2 point conversion stopped SG from getting that win. Come on coach, use your head! I hate to play the blame game but it's hard to watch the guys work so hard and have it taken away from them. Wise up coach, if the girls in the stands can see your play calling mistakes why cant you? It's a shame for the talented SG players to not have the success they deserve. I'm proud of the Rebels, they did the best they could with what they were told to do. Rebel Pride! Got Milk? A Milk Can that is!! I don't know what game you watched but the better team won last night. It was a great game played by both teams. Way to go Buffs now stay focused and take care of CD next Friday night.
1stAndGoal
Turnovers just freakin' killed the Rebs.....I see a pattern here. Susong drives.....Susong coughs it up Yes, turnovers have hurt us all year, but our QB did his job last night and did it well. He wasn't the one coughing it up, he had 1 interception and made no fumbles. His line did a great job giving him the time he needed and he made several in the numbers passes that didn't get caught. It was a wet night, which makes it hard on a passing team. A wet and muddy field didn't help either teams running game as well. Guess the QB is nautrally the one that carries the blame when you lose. There were some bad decisions on play calling that hurt us too, like not kicking 2 field goals when we had the chance. I saw some Devil fans at the game, ask them what happened on offense, I bet they won't say it was the QB. They win and lose as a team and don't point fingers at each other, you shouldn't either, especially when you don't know what your talking about. Go Rebels! I listened to nearly the entire second half on the radio. Yes you can hang this one on play-calling but the late game interception and a mis-handled pitch on 4th and goal is on Susong. Stupid play call it should have been a pass. We just had too many missed opportunities all night.
