WHO IS YOUR BIGGEST RIVAL, AND WHY?

Over around the Tennessee River on the West side...it doesn't get any bigger or fiercer than Henry County/Dickson County! This game for years has been the battle for the District 10AAA title. The Cougars and Patriots battle for and blue and orange/red, white, and blue wooden keg (empty of course). Painted on the keg are the scores from every year these two teams have battled! HC and DC have played nearly 30 times...each game is epic. In 1988, Dickson County beat the Patriots in Dickson 21-14 (their closest game of the season) on their way to the AAA State Championship. Now, a member of that 1988 team is the head coach of the Cougars. This week, he will bring his Cougars to Paris to try to knock off Henry County after the Patriots whipped the Cougars last year 45-0. It's huge, it's mean, it's intense, it's crowded, it's fun, .........it's this week!!! GO BIG RED!!!

Like you I can't wait. Should be a good one. DC coming off a big Dist win and Pats with a few days to think about the CHS loss and extra time to prepare for the Cougars.
