I believe the tiebreaker is as follows:

1. The team with the greatest number of victories.

2. The team who has the greatest number of victories over teams winning 50 percent or more of their games.

3. The team whose opponents have earned the most victories.

4. The team whose opponents have received fewer defeats.

5. The team who has the greatest number of victories over teams in its own class.

6. Ten yard-line overtime procedure at neutral site Monday night at 7:30 P.M.

Based on this, IF Webb defeats DCA this friday then Webb, DCA and Davidson Academy will all be 9-1 with the only region loss to one of the other two in the tiebreaker... Webb lost to DA, DA lost to DCA and DCA lost to Webb.

So the first tiebreaker doesn't solve anything because they all have 9 wins. The second tiebreaker would show that Webb would have 5 wins over teams with a 50% winning percentage or more, DCA with 4 and Davidson Academy with 4 so Webb would get the #1 seed.

You are right except for one thing. If DCA loses they will not be 9-1. They will be 8-2 because of a loss to CPA earlier in the season. If DCA beats Webb they are first with Davidson getting the #2 seed. I'm not completely sure of the next part. I think if DCA loses to Webb Davidson gets the #1 seed and Webb gets #2. We'll see. It should be a great game.

You're right! I didn't catch that DCA would be 8-2. How did they lose to CPA? After reading the TSSAA website it sounds right that Davidson will be the #1 seed if Webb beats DCA.

V. GENERAL REGULATIONS (DIVISION II: CLASS A and CLASS AA)

A. In Class A, there will be an East/Middle and a West Region. The West Region shall be split into two districts.

There shall be twelve total teams that qualify for the football playoffs. The top three teams in each of the West

districts and the top six teams from the East/Middle Region shall qualify for the football playoffs. In the

East/Middle Region each team will play a seven game region schedule. The schools shall declare the seven

games which count towards region standings prior to the start of each season. To determine the place of each

team, follow the playoff series criteria as set forth in III E.

III E. In the event that there is a tie in district standings, the following tie-breaking procedures shall be applied and all

regular season games, both district and non-district, shall count. If at any point when the following tie-breaking

procedures are applied, one team has beaten all the other teams that are tied for a play-off position, that team

shall be rated above the others. After any position in the district standings has been determined, the tie-breaker

procedure shall begin all over again to determine the next position. This procedure shall be repeated to

determine all places in the district.
